你有否留意？我們每人身上都有一個圓形扭掣，正在調控此刻生活節奏─大家日復日扭到上班上課急促報到的頻道；疲憊了便會扭到放空；假期就似乎是在浮游。週而復始的狀態，你又回到勞動的起點。生活就像是一個循環。有時候這顆扭掣轉得太快，我們都會大意忽略一些微小頻道。它們就顫動於你我常用的頻道之間，要誘發我們與生俱來的藝術觸覺。拉開這道內藏無限可能的頻道夾縫，你便直達一個時而平靜，時而滾動的自我觀照世界，同時塑造一種別具力量的創意生活態度。

The theme this year is Stay Tuned, Stay Groovy. Have you ever noticed the tunable switch that each of us possesses, which serves to adjust the pace our lives? Day after day, we would tune to working channel while rushing to school or to work, then to the resting channel while exhausted; and very likely to the relaxing channel while on vacation. Then again, we turn back to labour, completing the routine.
Sometimes the switch is tuned too hurriedly, that we would overlook some channels between the habitual ones. Those channels though seem trivial, they reach directly the ever changing world of self–contemplation, which could be at rest or in motion. Once dive into such dimension, the inborn art sense within you will be revitalised, and regain the remarkable force of creative living.

Living in art is to dig out the discrete sensation of well-being from the bumpy pace of our lives. Hong Kong Arts Centre Open House 2016 – Stay Tuned, Stay Groovy invites you to fine-tune your switch, so as to reconnect to the lively channel of art and culture, to rediscover the linkage between art, community and the self.
